Enrichment clubs

Home

At St. Luke’s we run enrichment clubs on a Thursday afternoon as part of learning time. The aim of the clubs is to introduce the children to a wide range of activities that perhaps they may not have a chance to experience otherwise. They are cross key stage to enable our older children to develop the empathy and necessary skills to support the younger children, and similarly, for our EYFS and KS1 children to learn from their older peers.

The clubs will have a focus on developing executive functioning skills, social capital and life skills as well as connecting in to the National Curriculum where appropriate.

The children choose three clubs from those that are available and are allocated one from their choices. They attend three clubs per year. The children have chosen from 34 clubs so far this year.
